The Doctors and Team Members

Dr. Aaron DeMaio attended Connecticut College in New London, CT where he graduated with distinction, cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his dental education from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine graduating with highest honors. Dr. DeMaio then completed a General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. Dr. DeMaio was practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in Amherst, NH when he decided to specialize in Orthodontics. Dr. DeMaio completed his orthodontic program at Tufts-New England Medical Center, Boston , Massachusetts. He received numerous awards for scholastic and clinical excellence. He holds professional memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Valley District Dental Society, and is currently president of the Hampshire Dental Society.

Dr. DeMaio lives in Belchertown with his wife, Tori, and their three children; Ethan, Emily, and Kate.

Dr. Joseph Zgrodnik received a Bachelor’s Degree from Amherst College and his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He then completed an internship at Worcester Memorial Hospital. After 4 years of practice in general dentistry he returned to Tufts to complete a 2 year post graduate program in Orthodontics. Dr. Zgrodnik is the past president of the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Zgrodnik has practiced in the pioneer valley for over 30 years.

Dr. Zgrodnik enjoys going to sporting events and working on his farm in Hadley. He is also involved in numerous civic positions throughout the pioneer valley.
